Well by now all of you know about the black out on the upper east coast. Since im one of the only people blogging from NYC I thought id share my experience..

Lights went out around 4:15 pm in NYC good thing I was home when it happened. Some of my friends weren't so lucky. One of my friends got stuck on the train and had to walk thru the tunnel. Then walk from manhattan to queens. Some of my friends got stuck in the city and walked across the brooklyn bridge . We just lit candles and chiled on the stoop and bugged out and cracked jokes all night. This morning was a mad scramble to the supermarket which had a long line of people buying batteries, water, ice and things like that. Happy to say none of our food went bad and everybodys safe. Nothing ttoo exciting happened in my part of town and im glad that's so. So all in all everthings good now. Hope yall all are safe . Finally got around to doing the laundry. Monday morning the best time to go. Got here right when they opened so I have the whole laundry to my self sorta like my own laundry room . We got a giant CLEAN RITE laundry mat right down the block but there machines are $2 more than here, besides nothing beats these little mom and pop laundromats with the old washers and dryers,which in my opinion are the best (and im only 22). No tvs and juke box like CLEAN RITE but I got my csk to keep me company. peace, Dj Fantom

Well no pics from the gig last night. Even though the most current information I had was that there wouldn't be a band playing last night. Not surprisingly there was one. The band was good and don't get me wrong I wasn't mad that they were performing early in the night. Just wish I had advance notice so I wouldn't have to had lugged all those records .

Ah well all in all it was a good night. I promise some more exciting posts in the future. Even though when most of the exciting things are going on im usually to busily(if that's a word) involved in it to take pics. TAFN (That's all for now).

p.s. Here's a pic of what I jokingly call a 40 oz in a glass. Its the house beer called a 5spot (named after and specially brewed for the bar) its literaly like 24 or so ozs maybe more and only $3 But of course I get them free. Well it seems I got the info mixed up. The Mya concert in cetral park is not starting till 6:30 pm (ny time) and I can't stay I have a gig tonight and have to be at the place by 9:00 awell .here's some random pics of things going on in central park. Me and my brother have a ritual whenever one of us falls asleep on the couch we mess with him tissue acting like a fly things like that .well heres my brother with some big boogers(raisins ) in his nose. Lol rofl peace, Dj Fantom

I can't believe I made it through last night. Had a gig at REMOTE LOUNGE in the city. My partner never showed up so I had to dj 6 hours straight by my self. It was a true test of my skills and indurence and im happy to say I passed. Would have posted some pics but had no time to take any.
