Just got in at 6am eastern time ,from my gig at Remote Lounge (NYC). My partner Dj Polarity rocked along with me. it was kinda dark in there so the pics didn't come out good. Polarity has 1 of those sprint camera fones with flash on it, so his pics came out good (damn I hate sprint) I also recorded the whole party set, all 6 hours,with my new net md minidsic recorder,which allows you to record 5 hours of music in cd quality stereo audio, on 1 minidisc( I love technology) from any source.it even

Well my replacement csk arrived today. I ordered it tuesday morn and it arrived today by regular mail. It looks to be in good condition physicaly , although the box looks alil banged up. At least they put a cushion in the box as shown in one of the pics. I needed a replacement cause I was having the glitchy screen problem. I hope this is my last replacement(knock on wood). I was hoping maybe they slipped and put the new os on it :) oh well ittle be here soon and ill realy be happy. Here's a few pics: the packaging , the cushion, the new csk etc...... peace, Dj Fantom

Well I didn't make it out to the parade. Man was I tired sat I was out till 4 in the morn. Then sunday went to 40 day early in the day then from there hung out straight to juvae at 2 in the morn and aint get home till 8am monday morn. Not to mention the miles we walked. I got like maybe 4 hours sleep the whole weekend so today (meaning monday) I was to tired to make it to the parade. Awell at least I made it to juvae which is like a mini version of the parade b4 the big event. Pretty soon back to work as I work for the NYC Dept. Just got back from juvae. Man was it crazy out there. It was raining off and on so we took refuge under the mcdonalds parking lot. What an adventure we had to have walked the equivlent of thhe lenth of the whole NYC today. We got there around 2am and it started jumping at 3am. Just getting home. Well just getting home from 40 day out in queens which I posted about earlier. Man did it turn out better than I thought. They even had Rocafella recording artist Freeway performing. Well its labor day weekend and a lot of things going on especialy in Brooklyn. Im sure many of you are familiar with the West indian day parade which takes place on Eastern Parkway every year. Yesterday was the block party on the block I live on now in Brooklyn. I was gonna bring the sound system out but it was raining off and on, so I set up 2 speakers under the small canopie we have and let cds play. It turned out decent even though it was not organized. Sorry no pics as wasn't nothing going on to take a pic about.

Today is "40 day" out in South Jamaica Queens. Its gonna be a big event in 40 park .recording artists performing djs. Im not djing this year but I will be next year. Last year they had Dj Hollywood- a legendary well known dj.

The people down the block from me is having a party in they back yard. It started about 10 pm last night and is still going on right now. They have a giant sound system ,but the music aint bother me im used to loud music so is my family,we slept like babys.

O yeah and tonite about 3oclock in the morn is what they call juve (pronounced ju-ve,wit an acent over the e) its the celebration b4 the parade. Its crazy ,food, music, something called the mud men who throw mud on them selves and you and paint also. No one gets mad casue that's part of it don't ask me why ,im American .just don't wear your good clothes to juve.

Sitting here watching the VMA's preshow. WTF 50 cent (in the middle) got on. That's not "gangsta" the rest of the G Unit wearing regular "hood" clothes and he got a on a suit. I know you have to adapt to your surroundings and situation,but someone as "gangsta" and "hood" as he's supposed to be shouldn't have to switch for no one.
