Here's some pics from "Remix hotel", www.remixhotel.com, a 3 day FREE seminar and clinics for Djs and Producers, taken place this weekend in NYC at SAE(school for audio engineering). Last night (friday10th) was "hip hop night" tonight is geared more towards dance and electronic music. If your a dj or producer in NYC this weekend you need to be there. All the big name companys was there showing off there products. The Denon guys (www.denon.com) let me get behind the set and test out there new dj cd turntable s5000. All I can say is I will have 1 by christmas(you only need 1 cause of something called alpha track)

Pics in no particular order Immortal technique performing, Another artist(forgot name) performing, Some of the new gear: The new Korg Micro kontrol midi controler, which doesn't hit stores till next month(damn), est. $299 street price. Its a midi keyboard and 16 pad controler and the pads don't just control notes, they control all kinds of parameters. Ill definately have one of the first ones when it drops.

The guys from denon on the set. All you djs im telling you all you need is a Denons5000 cd turntable ,blows pioneer out the frame whoaaa.


Im going again 2night. Im taking more pics and my vid cam as the Denon guys asked me to rock with them again. (they even asked for my card, maybe they'll give me a job)

Im chilling here at Angel Bar on Stanton and orchard. Every wednesdays my peoples DEADLY DRAGON SOUND SYSTEM have a function called DIGITAL DAYS Reggae wednesdays. I haven't been able to make it out in a while. Across the street from here is the best pizza shop in NYC "Rosario Pizz" on stanton and orchard (arepem you gotta know about this place). The only pizza shop I know with cheeseless pizza,and you realy don't miss the chese.(im lactose intolerant). Well I found out too late Caroline Kennedy was at my job today(elementary school). They redid the playground over the summer and today was the "grand opening" of the play area for the little kids,complete with all new playground. She was here with school officials and the press for the ceremony. If I knew I would have took some pics of her. I missed the ceremony cause they had it early this morn b4 I got to work.

At the Atlantic ave festival on Atlantic ave in Brooklyn. Its stretches from 4th st ,or is it ave, to hick street. that corn stand has the best d**n roasted corn I ever tasted. Just some random pics didn't stay long . peace, Dj Fantom
