Had to drive around to find the right parking and saw this rather obvious sign for the fire hydrant. Spent about 30 minutes looking for the microcache where I'm almost positive it should have been, but no luck. Thanks to juz and s4x for trying to help through #hiptop, but I'm going to have to log my first DNF. :( Britni did find a toad that tried to pee on her and we saw a baby deer that snuck up on us. -div ed.hunsinger.org

We're out geocaching and hit this park for one (thanks to s4xton for the suggestion!). Just a small little park next to a road with a bunch of sculpture next to a river. Some neat sculptures and Britni's first cache. Now off to our second one after cooling down in the ac of the car. -div ed.hunsinger.org

We're having a 4th of july cookout tomorrow and we needed a grill capable of the food capacity we need. So a late night drunken trip to Meijer turned up with a $200 gas grill for $100 since it was the floor model. And it was already assembled! Woot! Some pics of us out geocaching at the elk preserve down the road. Tieryn took some stuff from the caches (as seen in the pictures) and we put some trinkets in them. We even moved one of them to a new spot (don't worry, it was expected). In total we found 3 caches and about 3 million mosquitos. kale's bug spray advice was not heeded until after the first cache with an emergency trip to the grocery store. All in all a great introduction to geocaching. Now to find more caches to do nearby. :) -div ed.hunsinger.org
