Five minutes of use and I had a terrible headache because of the hazy sparkle coming off of it. After 40 minutes with tech support convincing him it was a hardware issue, and another 30 minutes with a different dept getting the return setup, the laptop is being packed up and picked up tomorrow. Time to get a Toshiba... Serves me right :P

Yay, new laptop... Time to start ripping out crappy software and install linux. Am I a sellout for getting a Dell because they had a special going? This is my first non-toshiba laptop in awhile. We'll see how it turns out..

Ok, so for desert we thought we'd try our hand at these. Not as easy as we thought. They were supposed to look like the first picture. As you can see, um no. They weren't the prettiest, but they were good eats.

After a nice long birthday weekend, it's back to the grind at work. So far, not too bad for a monday. Pics include random rearview shot, my keycard holder, training material, the ipod callers count, and the mountain dew can that's always on my desk.

Went out for some good sushi at the Bowl House for dinner last night. Stuffed myself with a crazy roll, a dragon roll, some tuna (I think), and some delicious ebi. Mmmm good stuff

After a breakfast (scrambled eggs, bacon, and raisin toast) at the usual Egglectic Cafe we love so much, Britni gave me the address of my birthday "surprise". After 20minutes of the computer voice telling us to take turn after turn in the middle of nowhere, we finally got there. My birthday surprise from Britni turned out to be a trip to Platinum Salon and Spa for a full body massage and haircut. So now I'm all relaxed and the mullet is gone.
