At the Cherry Valley Lodge in Newark, OH for Erik and Fulya's wedding. Ceremony was nice and small. Not a huge deal in regards to formalities and more focused on the reason for the ceremony. It was a really nice setup with the actual exchange of vows on a gazebo on a small pond. We felt very honored to have been invited to attend with a small selection of friends and family.

Headed back to Granville, OH, home of our alma mater: Denison University. One of our friends graduated yesterday and is getting married today. So we're dressed up, making the ~2hr drive down from Brit's parent's place. Currently somewhere on SR 13 with a flashing X. Rural America seems even more rural after moving to Chicago, but its so nice to see huge fields, forests, skies without building, etc.

Road tripping to Ohio for the weekend to see Brit's family and hit up a college friend's wedding down in columbus. Brit is driving and I'm getting some web work done on the laptop. The temp seems to be dropping as we get closer to ohio. Still in the 60s and not raining so its perfectly acceptable.

Anyone need any batteries? Saw this deal on amazon awhile back and they finally arrived. 48 AA batteries for $7.50. I figure even if they last 1/4 as long as duracell/energizers/etc, I'll still be making out well. I've never heard of this TechB company though. Also got the latest Chuck Palahniuk book: Haunted. Its for britni since she's a huge fan. Shhh don't tell her, its a surprise.

Relaxing on the couch with Gabby after a delicious dinner thanks to Britni. Full stomach of good food after a long hard day equals sleepiness on the couch. I can't do anything even if I wanted, Gabby has her claws set just right so that any movement, she'll clench up and I'll end up with puncture wounds (hopefully in just my thigh).
