Got my ears stretched from 0g to 7/16ths. I am officially out of the gauge measurements. Then we went out drinking for my friend (and body mod consultant) tdouble's bday. Woo!

ok, last one and I'll be caught up on my backlogged posts. There's this cute little bakery called Mont Blanc (274 E Algonquin Rd, Arlington Heights, 60005) right up the road from us that Britni has fallen in love with. We stopped by to get some good looking desserts and they packed it up with dry ice so it wouldn't melt. When we got home of course I had to have some fun. After totally confusing the cats, I dropped it in some Red Bull for a nice cold smoking drink.

Our current lease is up in September and due to a change in ownership, they're raising the rent past what it's worth to us. So the hunt is on to find a new place. We're not quite ready for a house because our hearts aren't set on staying in Chicago too long. I'd be willing to bet with another or winter or two, we'll be out of here. So after a bit of breakfast, we hopped in the car with the laptop loaded up and GPS on in true geek fashion to go apartment scouting. Found one great looking place with a large pool, sundeck area, lots of open space, and close to some horse stables so Brini could have the opportunity to get back into riding easily. Still leaving our options open though.

Swung by to see my friends at the liquor store and was devastated to learn that they were all out of Sparks! Everywhere around the store there were stickers and ads for Sparks, but not a single orange can in site. They said that there were two guys that have been coming in buying 5-10 cans a day. They cleaned him out of the normal Sparks and were even starting in on the Sparks Lite! I had to settle on Red Bull and vodka for the weekend. Britni opted for the Peach Fuzzy Navels and a big Miller Lite (bleah.. )

Flying home after a week of vacation. (1) brit reading at Long Island Islip airport, (2) sitting on the plane after landing in Cinci, (3) waiting for our delayed flight from Cinci to OHare, was an hour late. (4) Long term parking fees. Ouch. We're taking a cab next time.

Decided to do a little shopping for a new car at Manhattan Motorcars Hamptons in Westhampton Beach, NY. Took a few pics with the hiptop before switching to the good camera. Lamborghinis, Ferraris, and Saleens, oh my!
