Came home to find a package containing a cold heat soldering "iron" with zero indication who it came from other than the return address for Wonderful Buys .com who apparently don't care much for packaging, gift receipts, notes, or anything. I wish now that I had read the reviews on this thing. Now that I've held it in my hands it has the feel of a either a mass produced shoddy tool or a decent bootleg. We'll see how well it does next time I have to solder something. It didn't come with the spool of solder or batteries and I have no idea where my solder or batteries are so I can't test it now. Oh well, whoever it came from, thanks!

Spent sunday night's low temps helping Tony load up the truck to move back to Columbus. Got to say goodbye to munson, the chihuahua, and optimus prime,the cat, who are two of the coolest pets we know. Tony and Dana are headed to Columbus where it's a touch warmer and there are friends, family, and a better job. We'll miss seeing them as much, but will be able to swing by when we visit Brit's family and when Tony comes back out to play Donkey Punch shows.

Woke up today feeling more miserable than I have the last few days. The 24hr cold I thought I had kicked yesterday was back with a vengence. Add to that the dryness of our new apartment and you have a very uncomfortable Ed. So while brit heads to work it's off to the doctor's office for the 2nd time this year. I'm still a whopping 135lbs, normal blood pressure, and just a cold. Got the typical "stay hydrated, let your body work it out" cure and a prescription for some longer lasting symptom suppressing meds.
