Almost forgot to post the pics from my morning commute today. I pulled into the parking lot to find an injured goose. He eventually ended up getting taken to a wildlife rescue place for rehabilitation. He didn't like me taking his picture and gave me a good old hiss.

I haven't hooked my turntables up in forever. Finally located the power adaptor for the mixer and set them up this afternoon so I could enjoy the LTJ Bukem record I got in San Francisco. Gotta celebrate the start of a long weekend with sparks!

The power blinked out, a couple circuits went down and computers lost power, then the smell of burning computer came from the testing lab, and the fire alarms went off. Within minutes the fire department showed up with 3 trucks, rescued the unlucky people stuck in the elevator, and then gave the go ahead to come back in. Thursday morning excitement for everyone. Still not sure what happened, but my guess is a power surge of some sort that overloaded things. Ironically the building across the parking lot had a fire drill about an hour ago.

After months of drooling while working on hiptop3.com I finally got a chance to order one of the cat remotes! $396.01 (after s&h/tax) with no contract extension. Let's hope it lives up to its hype!
