So I snagged my nighttime goggle while in san fran. My daytime goggles for burning man arrived today. Thanks to chu for pointing me to them. Amber, Blue, and Smoke lenses to boot, all for under $30. Thanks Mach 1 Motorsportd

I spent the weekend up in Wisconsin for some camping and whitewater rafting on the Wolf River. We lost all cell signal well before we made it back through the winding roads to our campsite, the sidekick was off the entire weekend. It was a good break, no phone calls to answer, no emails or text messages. Just the woods, rafting, and having a good time. The pictures were snapped on our way out, where we stopped at Smokey Falls (the last rapid/waterfall) to take a picture. I guess the river decided I'd do this one standing up, since we hit a rock or something that bounced me to my feet and I surfed the way down upright. Lotsof fun, a good group of people, and plenty of excitement. But now I'm sore, tired and ready for a nice nap. :)

I was laying in bed this morning with my arm like so, when Gabby decided she wanted to join me. She jumped up and walked alongside my body, skimmed down my arm with her paw, stepping right on the ball. Now its bruised, red, swollen, and painful. And I had almost declared it healed after 7 weeks. :(

Brought the carputer inside this weekend for some updating. Just about every piece of software had a new and improved version to load. Frodoplayer, Map Monkey, Streets and Trips (2004 was on there!), Street Atlas (another 2004 version), and Firefox 1.0 all get to be updated. its amazing how long the shoebox has managed to hold up. Coming up to almost 3 years now.

Went and checked the mail today for the first time since friday to find my 2gb card sitting in there. So glad the packed it with those 3 peanuts to protect it.

Finally done! Today was another hard day working from home, so my attire was the first thing I grabbed from the floor/closet. Shirt - white Shorts - the same dark green/gray camo pair from yesterday Belt - grey/greenish, brown and silver No shoes yet today. Hat - black and red He'll City hat

Oops, missed the photo for Day 5. Oh well, not exciting. I wore beige shorts and a beige shirt as I spent the day hacking away at the sk3. Today I actually took my dark green shades cam and grey/blue shirt outside.
