My new mp3 player for bringing some music to the playa when I need to escape the madness. 512mb for $30 and it weighs nothing. A cheap refurb I won't mind losing or destroying should something happen to it. Also got my new duffel bag complete with wheels, handle to roll with and stealth backpack straps for strapping it on while I'm running across O'Hare trying to catch my flight. The large size should come in handy when I have to pack for 2 weeks! Snagged this on sale for about $40 before they ran out. Big ++ on both. Only 16 days before I fly out!

Was watching Tribal Life on the travel channel tonight. They did a show on land diving. Basically guys jumping off an 8 story handbuilt tower with nothing but vines tied to their feet to arrest their fall a few feet above the dirt. Very impressive to see. There were 8 year olds jumping off from lower heights even. Unfortunately the shot of the guy flying through the air was too washed out to be worth posting.
