so, this is rare, for whatever reason, but I've actually caught Hip Hop Chicken sleeping! and at 2am, which is unusual for him since he's usually out spinning todays top hits at the local chicken shack, or out picking up on chicks (yes, pun intended)... we all love the smell of rain....

yes my friends of my world, it had been about 2 years, yes two, since I had had Ihop's delicious CINNAMON FRENCH-TOAST SWIRL... AND it was spenderiffic! (that's like really good!) mmmmm.... so, what do you get when you cross a Black 4gb ipod nano, a Black 2gb ipod nano, and a White 1 gb ipod shuffle? A 7gb family gathering at Dos Hombres, (which is right next to the Mini golf course that I must say has some challenging holes), with chips and salsa, and the Dos Hombres burrito, (and to my knowledge, I don't think there really are 2 men diced up in the burrito, but I could be wrong, cause these days, who knows with cannibalism at an all time rate hike) all topped with a discussion of recent political reform that is occurring in several countries that we were planning on dominating ourselves, but hey, who cares about OUR world domination needs....

ya know, you can read this, and you can be moved one way or another. you can go through your life believing one way or another about God, who He is, or isn't.... but im here to tell you,

He is real! and that's not even half of it, cause not only is He real, He is loving, He is compassionate, He strives to be close to you... He doesn't want you to suffer or die, He wants you to live, and live abundantly....

today, I was witness to the miracle of God's healing hand, as I discovered that my grandfather, who was diagnosed with cancer a few months back, had been COMPLETELY healed!!! Nothing there, not a thing! So many loved ones prayed for him and he was healed... my eyes water in complete honor and tribute to my God who is the Healer, He who is the Savior of the world...

Many think, "but what about so-and-so who died at the hands of ...." but the Bible says we, as humans, God-believers and non-believers alike, would face persecution and wouldn't be exempt from the toils of the world... but we, all of us, have a God, our Refuge, that we can call out to and run to in time of need, in time of persecution, in times of joy and rejoicing... and He was, is, and will be always faithful to us! Its His Word to us, and He won't break His Word.

Trust God, regardless of what may have happened in the past, regardless of past hurts,,, and just see what happens when you do submit to Him. Once you experience God, the real God, you will never want to go back to your old way of life....
