sng update
Update, finished 6th in one and 5th and 4th in the other two, damn.

Total -$23

But then I sat at a $25 NL table and I doubled up and won $34 when my 77's caught the set and cracked some guy's QQ.

more sng action
Just sat down at 2 $5+1 and one $10+1 sngs on party, updates coming soon.

Party SNG's
(SNG = Single table sit and go tournament, on Party Poker the payout is: 1st = 5x buyin, 2nd = 3x buyin, 3rd = 2x buyin)

Since I'm going out to Vegas for spring break in 3 weeks with like 7 friends for 4 days/5 nights, I've been grinding it out on Party trying to build a decent bankroll to play the larger games out there. I just nearly emptied my Party account and moved the money to the bank, only because im less likely to take it to a $5/10 game with its in the back.

So I brought my account down to $32.xxish and decided to play my favorite tables the NL$25 and only buy into each table for $10-15. I find this to be very profitable, because blinds are only .25/.50 and you can double up fairly easily the way people throw around money on Party.

So I play some NL's and jump into a SNG for a change of pace, if I keep my composure I can almost always finish in the top 5 and usually cash with the top 3. I played the NL table and built up my bankroll last night up to $80 or so, took a few bad beats in the NL game, dropped to $60 and went to bed to get some rest from my math test the next day.

After class I came home an joined 3 $5-1 SNG NL tables. I really have the best success playing heads up and short stacked. If I can double up in the first 3 levels I just wait it out for pocket pairs or until 5 or so people get knocked out.

I played for 48 minutes, finished 2nd on two tables and won the third. Total investment $18, total payout $55, not too bad I guess, I'm kicking myself for not playing the $10+1 SNG, I know I know, when the rake is the same you should play at the highest limit available. I just didn't feeling like throwing $33 out there today.

On to other news, cardplayer.com has their new issue online, be sure to check it out.

Also, if you're down with poker blogs be sure to check out Table Tango (http://pokerworks.com/deardiary/tabletango.deardiary.htm) and http://www.PokerGrub.com

Hmmm, Bellagio started a $100 buyin NL table....interesting....dangerous yet interesting...

Oh yeah, watch Adult Swim on Cartoon Network from like 10pm-4am, CST is good stuff to watch while hunting for fishes on PP.

Last thing too, if you live around Chicago and are looking for poker check my message board with a list of games

Poker Blog
this picture is owned by the submitter. contact submitter for permission before using it in any wayThis is the start of my talking about my poker playing on a regular basis, Ive been talking about it for quite a while and thanks to humorous sites like pokergrub.com and table tango, I've decided to also journalize my journey into poker.

I live about 60 miles out of chicago and I usually play at the rockford charity games, or drive to the Hollywood casino in Aurora, I drive 3 hrs to Ho-chunk in wisconsin when I have time, and play with a good buddy up there. Whenever I take him with me I lose, he wins, it's BS.

But anyways if you see the guy on the right at your table watchout, because I always play the hammer, and when I beat you with it, you'll instantly go on tilt and fund my retirement. Plus my sunglasses are uberpimp.

I play on Royal Vegas, Party Poker, Empire, and Ultimate Bet. Train with Turbo Texas Holdem and Sklansky, Jones and Caro.

I always eat oreos at my table and run a site for people in or around chicago looking for a poker game www.chicago2600.net/poker feel free to check it out or hit me up poker@chicago2600.net

Until next time, Good health and lucky hammers.

And they're like it's better than yours. Damn right. It's better than yours.

I love my ipod, my itrip is great too, except I've noticed there's a big crack around the center of it, so I'm thinking it wasn't made as well as it could have been.
