So what do you give a 450 lb lion for toys? How about a 50 gallon plastic drum, a 3 foot diameter plastic ball, and a log? I got backstage access to the lion holding area and am seeing lions up close and personal. Inches away!

And man, the damage to the white plastic "drum toy" is amazing..huge holes and gouges in plastic that I can't even dent with a pocketknife.

These animals are POWERFUL. A very humbling experience...

The protest in Government Center moved to Copley Square. I'm standing in front of the church, and there are at lease 2 thousand people here.

And they keep coming... I think the Boston media is downplaying this, but I am in the middle of it all...and it's huge. Mobile blogging is truly the future...you are the media....I am the media...we all are the media.

Meet Izzy! She's a 5-month-old Devon Rex, and I picked her up over the weekend. She looks a bit like an alien, she's getting along wonderfully with my two other cats, and she loves people.

Hrm...now I have 3 cats. I'm well on my way to gathering a clan of felines that I can send out to do my bidding and wreak havok on my enemies, crushing all who oppose me. Muahahaha!!!!!

Tragedy struck our fair city park today when the lifeless body of Sid Squirrel was discovered lying on the ice of the frozen Duck Pond in the Boston Public Garden. Signs of a struggle were apparent, as several large acorns were found strewn around the scene of the crime indicating theft as a probable motive.

"I don't know who could have done such a senseless thing," commented an anonymous mallard duck who lives in the area. "Sid was always so generous with his nuts...sharing them with all the other squirrels. Why oh why did this have to happen? I'm just glad my ducklings are away on Spring Break and didn't have to witness this."

Park pidgeons in the police department are on full alert, and encourage anyone with tips to please call 911 immediately. "We'll get this nut nabber, I promise," asserted Police Chief Percy. "We're dusting the acorns for prints, and we have some good leads. Oh excuse me, that old lady is tossing breadcrumbs again...gotta go."

Canadian Geese living in the area were unavalable for comment (having flown South for the winter).
