It's worse than what I first thought. Several fires were started by arsonists. We haven't had decent rainfall in many months. I live approximately 20 miles southwest of the Grand Prix Fire. While I was driving on the freeway last night, I was looking for the water dropping helicopters but didn't see any.

Big fire that started near 15 fwy a few days ago. It has spread and I say the flames on the hill on way from work last night. Now my car exterior is covered with ash residue.

Power on my block was out five mins ago and is now back on. Should be an interesting day @ work.

I'm digging this NickToon episode of the Fairly Odd Parents called "Information Stupor Highway".... Timmy (main character who is 10 years with two Fairy godparents, Cosmo & Wanda) is writing ane-mail to his crush - Trixie, about the school dance, but Timmy's parents come in and make the e-mail all about love, and they send it! So Timmy transforms into computer data to try to receive the letter to Trixie. While on this adventure, Mr. Crocker (bitter teacher who wants revenge for losing his own fairy godparents when he was a kid) video records Cosmo and Wanda, and is going to reveal it to everyone! Timmy stops Crocker from uploading that file, and Timmy gets a hold of a film of Mr. Crocker in his mothers red rubber dress!, and he shows it to the whole world.

The computer that is the highlight of this adventure looks like a MAC OS desktop..graphics are ultra cool.

Today is "atta boy/girl" day for IT Infrastructure. We are being treated to InNOut Burger in a local park. Didn't bring my camera with me. The grass hasnlt been cut in a while and my eyes are getting itchy. Forgot to bring the super duper eye drops.

Standing by while they get ready to announce the door prizes. They are giving away spot bonuses and some other stuff. Winners must be present. We also got a new VP of IT about a week ago who also joined us for lunch.

HipTop Nation Scavenger Hunt winning team's blog bookmarked. I remember I was off work sick and dragged myself out of my warm cozy abode to get some photos. Even though I live very close to Onatrio Airport I was reluctant to go insde with my SideKick & camera because it was only a year after 9/11. I remember getting into a virtual "snitfit" with Lazo.. I think it had something to do with getting a pic of a banana split. I remember one the scavenger items to score was a pic of pint of "real blood".

Because the HipTop is offered by addtional carriers, the community has grown sizably and there will be more participation because of the Color Sidekic, this community is still F-U-N to be apart of and this year the hunt will start on a Friday....

I also want to chime in and say HTA To the Old Cranks, Young Cranks and to those that don't fit into either category. Its been interesting to see how some thing have evolved and how some things have stayed the same in the HipTop world.

Thanks MikePop for keeping the blog sane. What a shame though that there was no commeration of the one year anniversary with some sort of cheese-worthy contest...hint...hint
