Having lunch in Bryant Park, right behind the New York City Public Library, I see these 5 guys in khakis and short sleeeve shirts walking in a nice little pack for some ad. While it wasn't freezing cold, it was slightly chilly with a tiny bit of wind to help lower the temperature. I hope at least one of those GAP ad wannabes get frostbite.

I was slow on the trigger (had to pull my camera out of my pocket, plug it in, and jump the the camera application) so I only caught the back of a Mini Cooper S covered in Red Bull vinyl decals along with a huge ass can mounted to the trunk and roof.

Based on the Bram Stoker Award nominee short story by acclaimed author Joe R. Lansdale, Bubba Ho-tep tells the "true" story of what really did become of Elvis Presley. We find Elvis(Bruce Campbell) as an elderly resident in an East Texas rest home, who switched identities with an Elvis impersonator years before his "death", then missed his chance to switch back. Elvis teams up with Jack(Ossie Davis), a fellow nursing home resident who thinks that he is actually President John F. Kennedy, and the two valiant old codgers sally forth to battle an evil Egyptian entity who has chosen their long-term care facility as his happy hunting grounds.

This is where my gas needle has been for the last 2 days as prices for gas jumped from $1.69 to $1.71-$1.75, depending on location. Does anyone else remember the good old days when gas was $0.99 a gallon?
