Hey Mike Lee... I thought about ya today when I was at my local Walgreens to pick up some Johnson's Vapor Bath for my son who has a little cold and saw some products that were near and dear to me when after I gave birth.... Lansinoh hands down the best and it works so good! Worth its weight in gold, LOL!! I see Gerber and Palmer's is in the game now too! ;)

It was extra cold this morning in PHX (43 degrees, hey that's cold to us Phoenicians, lol!) so I decided to pick up some comfort food for breakfast! Nothing like scrambled eggs, grits and fluffy biscuits to chase the chill away! Anyway, I love their country gift store this time of year! They have the yummy old school candies, to die for jams and jellies, and the best Yankee candles... just to name a few of the things in the I like! ;) I think I'm going to come back just to explore more of the Christmas goodies they've got!

Well, here I am on a Saturday afternoon by my lonesome, trying (key word: trying!) to work off some of the massive quantities of food I have consumed over the past week! Thanksgiving dinner was delish, I put my foot in it, as they say! :) But like I said, now I am in here at the gym trying not to feel too guilty...

Anyway, I thought the blow-up Homer Santa in the gym was kinda cute and so did my son! Hopefully Homer Santa will see me a little more consistantly since Thanksgiving is over! ;)

Just got my hair done today... Ain't it purtty? ;) I had actually given up getting my hair done because they stylists were either late, painfully slow (read doing more than one client at a time, or talking on the phone) or cut way too much hair off when I say I just want a trim. This was the least painfull experience I have had-- it pays to be the first client in the door when they first open! She did exactly what I asked and I was out of there within 2 hours!! For an african-american salon that is a record, LOL!!

Anyway, getting dolled up since we have a comedy show tonight. The line-up is great.. Alex Thomas, Katt Williams, local man Kyle, Melanie Comarcho, RedBone, Ricky Harris, and my fav, straight from Yonkers, Tony Roberts! Who knows, maybe I'll even get to sip some Patron tonight! ;) Will post pics from the event later...

PS, Yes that is my halo shining bright! Just (kiddin')

Or how the sign says, "Obster", LOL! Either way it was delish, I had the lemon pepper shrimp along with regular fried shrimp and of course plenty of those famous cheddar-bay biscuits! Next time I'm trying the carmel apple martini they've got going on now! Didn't want to sip tonight since I gotta get up at 6:30am to get my son ready for school!

Anyway, its raining in PHX, my belly's full, the yungin's in bed and there is peace in my house, so now I will bid you all a good night.... :)
