Been so busy with life and I got somehow wrangled into running a half-marathon with a good friend and I am actually getting pretty serious out it! I'm up to running 15 miles a week!

But this weekend, I'm in SMF to visit my fam and my mom, son and I took off for San Francisco, specifically Japantown for a day/night! Here we are at our fav restaurant Kushi-tsuru waiting for our table. Too bad there wasn't enough of my Shoka-do dinner bento to take a pic of! :)

Now all 3 of us are back at the hotel, full and ready to call it an evening! :) Good night!

Greetings and Salutaions, what's good everyone?! This mama got a chance to get up, get out, and do something last night, in the form of a comedy show and I had a GREAT time! it was at the Celebrity Theatre here in PHX and on the bill were some very funny urban comics... Here are some pics I took in the green room with some of them. I didn't get Juan Villareal or Redbone as they were either just exiting the stage or actually on stage. I'm not sure the order of the names is correct with my pics but here goes...

Me with; Alex Thomas, Tony Rock (Chris Rock's younger bro., very funny look out for him!), local comedian Kyle, and Hope Flood (she is CRAZY!)!

After the show, we all caravaned over to the Hard Rock Cafe for the afterparty and I got to get my dance on with a bunch of friends, which I hadn't seen in a while, it was so much fun! My feet payed the price, naturally, since I had to try and be cute with the mini skirt/knee high boot look, lol! But its all good, got a pedicure this morning and my foot tech took good care of the tootsies! (Yes, I have some big ass feet, size 9 1/2, but I am 5 foot 9 and 1/2 so they're proprotionate dammit! Hehehehe!) :)

Have a wonderful day everyone, I'm gonna catch a cat nap! ;)

I'm in a suite tonight watching my fav team the KINGS take on the Suns here in PHX! CWebb's not playing tonite he's still injured but as usual the KINGS still roll! Its halftime KINGS up 59 to 52.

I forgot I took these after we left the Hard Rock Cafe NYE celebration. Lol, I'm getting old 'cause instead of the after party I wouldve partaken in back in the day, me and the husband kicked it @ Denny's! And by the looks of it a lot of other people in there had the same idea..... Anyway, I had a good time though and the french toast and decaf was excellent! ;)

Since I've posted, but not to worry Cafe is still around! Have to do the mom and wifey thing, double-time during the holidays! Got a chance to get out tonite to see the Suns whoop the Iverson-less 76ers and the WestSide Connection concert afterwards... And mama also went to the afterparty where I ran into Hipalbum webmaster himself, Ke! Lets just say I didn't get to bed until around 4am which doesn't happen often since I'm usually up around 6:30am!

Anyway, I hope all had a wonderful Christmas and congrats to the new parents! Christmas was so laid back and wow was Santa good to me! I have to admit I was very surprised this year! I got the "iced-out" Ice-Tek pink ladies heart shaped watch and a Sony cyber-shot You digital camera. For its tiny size, this little camera packs a nice little punch with 2.0 mega pixels and the ability to take short movie clips. I just think its cute and now can have a camera that takes better pics (flash, digital effects etc..) than my hiptop, in my purse at all times! ;)

Oh yeah... Two pics are from Red Lobster... Got sick of ham leftovers real quick! ;)

Went to Barnes & Noble yesterday in the daytime and avoided the huge crowd that is there in the evenings now due to the Christmas shopping season. I actually came in there just to get an eggnogg latte from the Starbucks Cafe in there but as always ended up looking around, LOL! I found my way to the "Family and Childcare" section and here are some of the titles that I happened to stumble across. OK, so they're not gripping novels or anything, but interesting to this mom none the less... ;)
