Oh man these are sooooo good! The trick is to only have one or two. Or three.... Heehee...... But honestly not a bad way to satisfy a sugar craving without cheating too bad!

Speaking of the SidekickII, I was able to order one on Monday so I hope to have the little bugger in my hands this time next week.... Crossing my fingers and toes......

I am on vacation in SMF (Sacramento,CA) and my mom, my son and I decided to spend the afternoon up in the Napa Valley. We went to the cultural center called Copia. Copia was interesting---they had an indoor exhibit all about food and the history of food as well as interactive displays that tested your sight, sense of smell and your mind! We had a nice light lunch at the cafe on grounds before moving on to the Edible Gardens.It's a beauftiful garden where every part of the garden that is growing is edible! In fact our salad greens were even grown and picked from there. DJ had a wonderful time picking the ripe (and not so ripe) fruits and veggies growing. I loove Napa, it's so beautiful and peaceful. No wonder the wine and fruits are so good! ;)

I'm in Cali visiting my parents in Sac and my son DJ, my mom and I always make a trip down to San Francisco to go to Japantown! We hit up Kinokunya bookstore, Sophie's Crepes (yum!), and Shitzuru our fave restaurant. I always say I'm not going to buy a bunch of stuff to end up schlepping back to PHX, but it never works, lol! Its nice and chilly which is a great change from the 90's in Sac and the 100's in PHX!

Hmmm... Back in the day when I was growing up, all we had were the nasty Flinstones vitamins. Now I see Hello Kitty, the fizzy Scooby Doo and the gummy Spiderman ones! I have a feeling DJ will pick the Spidey ones! Here's a picture of my handsome lil man at M&M World lasst week in Vegas. Go figure, all he gets there are the Skittles! He doesn't like chocolate, unlike his mom, LOL! ;)

The pool at the MGM Grand is pretty cool! They have the floating river where you can swim or tube down while enjoying a libation like I did, hehehe, or there are about 3 or 4 other areas that are for adults only, which I will be sure to be hitting up next time when we come here sans our son... We are one of the first ones at the pool this afternoon at the gym. Yes, this is the pool faclility at the fitness center I go to. This place is incredible, all they need are some rooms and it could be a resort/hotel, lol. Its called Lifetime Fitness. They've got an Aveda salon/spa, a cafe with a full Starbucks, 2 olympic sized pools with slides, it just goes on and on! What got me was the flat screen tv monitors in the cardio area. I NEVER miss ESPN anymore! ;)

Wow, it's been so long since I've done any moblogging of any kind! I feel like a newbie almost, lol! Anyway, life has been ever consuming but enjoyable of course!

Today was my son's last day of school for the summer.... I'm happy because no more early mornings but I'm sad because wow.. 13 hours of entertaining a 7 year old... Summer camp hurry up and start, LOL! But it will be good to have to not be on a set schedule and enjoy the lazy days of summer--traveling whenever (Vegas this weekend maybe?), going to the movies, etc without "oh no gotta get to bed--gotta get up at 6:30am"!

We just came back from having lunch at RA here in Ahwatukee. The food is usually pretty good, but today the service was horrible. My tempura bento box sorta made up for it though! ;) Ok, enough rambling, here's some new and not so new random pics from today and not so today!

Ps... Mike Lee... She is getting so big and is still as adorable as ever! Of course its the asian in her that makes all the difference! ;)

Had an awesome time in SFO, specifically Japantown! Of course I got to get my real japanese grub on as well as stock up on those items I can't easily get in PHX. It was overcast pretty much the whole weekend, but that didn't stop the throngs of visitors who were there to shop, eat, and sightsee. The shops that showcase the beautiful and authentic kimonos and art are so beautiful! I just love the whole "wa" or essence of Japan which is, literally half of my own essence!

Our last meal was at Bennihana, not the most authentic, but my son loves the show you get and actually it wasn't half bad! I preffer the more authentic where you can see what's on the menu from the outside. Even though they are plastic models of the dishes they still make me hungry, lol! ;)

Well its back to PHX via SMF and LAS (vegas) tonite. Hopefully the rain and wind will die down some before we get in the air.... I HATE turbulence!!
