Today I was surprised by a switch in hotels to one on the beach! Its gorgeous, the weather is sunny but still cool and one of my good friends happens to be staying here as well! I wish I could give it all up and be a beach bum... Well at least live on beachfront property.. :) Viv/Cafe1

We are spending the weekend in Los Angeles spending a couple days in Anaheim to go to Disneyland. October is the best time to go to Disneyland, the crowds and lines are about half of what they normally are in the summer and it cools down so much in the evening making it a much better experience one the sun goes down. The Embassy Suites are so underrated.. The suites are great and you cannot beat the free hot breakfasts in the morning and the free open bar in the evenings!

We decided to head up north to Flagstaff for the weekend to get out of the 90 plus degree weather and catch the Suns scrimmage each other. I am loving the weather... Only about 58 degrees and rain! When we left PHX it was 95! Anyway, went to the local Red Lobster for dinner and now we're back at our hotel suite chilling out watching NFL Primetime!

Decided to get mu little guy a new game system. We got the Gamecube because it seems to be little more user friendly for the younger set. I was surprised it was only 99.00. If I recall when hubby got the PS2 it was closer to 150.00. Anyway the guys over at Gamestop in the Chandler Fashion Center were very knowledgable and helpful and that made the decision to go with this even easier. I like the fact that its so small. But I hear the PS3 is even smaller so I'm sure father and son will be back to get that when it comes out...

Anyway, DJ had some Panda Express while I checked out the games.. Couldn't eat so close to the cardio BOOTCAMP class I was going to take an hour and a half later... Good thing I didn't because it kicked my ASS, LOL!

Here to get some after workout/yoga eats! Its a popular hangout for the cops at this location. Their breakfast and other burritos are some of the best in town so I am not mad at them! Pretty cheap too! ;)

I found the exact same lunch box I had back in 2nd grade on EBay!! It cost me a whole 4.95 plus shipping, lol! Man it brings back so many memories.. bologna and cheese sandwiches, Granny Goose individual size chips, getting a Hostess cherry pie for dessert, (when they were bigger, LOL!) and buying some milk or orange drink-- there weren't any juice boxes/pouches back then.... Man those were the good ole days!

Went by my local TMo store and they had the demo of the new SKII... It is a little longer than the CSK but it still fits well in the palm of your hands. All the buttons are user friendly and The color of the unit wasn't as bad as it looks on all the pictures I've seen of it. I'm getting a lil more excited!!

By the way, that's my son's hands flipping the screen up and next to it! He gave it a thumbs up as well! He wants my old one but it has to go back to TMo.... ;)
