It was a gorgeous day in PHX today... 75 degrees... Got to wear my open toe sandals, yea! Also had to turn the air conditioning on in my car for a quick sec after it was sitting in the sun! The weather is no better any where in the US right now.... Guess that's why us Arizonans get through the blazing summers knowing that winter is like heaven here! :)

DJ and I went to grab some grub over at the Red Robin in Tempe. I really like it over there because the service is always good and I can watch ESPN with a clear view. The fish and chips is really good too!

GO SUNS! GO KINGS!!!

This is a lotta Legos! And this is only about half of my son's collection of them! Its a nightmare when he dumps them out like this but some how out of this mess the Millenium Flacon was created! And he did a fantastic job may add! Another ship for the "Star fleet" as he says! Only thing for me is I will be stepping on the pieces that escape clean up time, which will cause me to want to throw every one of those tiny pieces away, LOL! If you've never stepped on a Lego. Let me tell you thry hurt! Feels like you stepped on a pin or something!

Went to the Suns v TWolves game last night.. Courtside again thankfully! The Suns win streak stops at 9. It was a tight game all the way through to the, oh about end of the 3rd quarter... We (Suns) again had three player (maybe 4?) in double figures, 3 I know with 20 plus points and we still lost!! Garnett is truly no joke... He got mad in the 4th quarter and just made it happen... Along with Cassell and Spree! ;)

I love the "Courtside Club".... They have complimentary food a, drink, and cocktails all the way til the end of the 3rd quarter and as you can see, I did grab some goodies to take back to my seat at the half! The other pic is of Power92 on air radio personality J times 3 (jx3) and my hubby doing his best impression of a blowfish? LOL!

I have no idea when or how this post will turn up and out. Service has been so bad with my Sidekick the past few days, triplicate picture posts and no or very late tmail in and out......

Anywhooo.... Enjoyed myself at the game last night! Got to see Lebron "King" James up close from our courtside seats. He's the real deal, but he has almost no supporting cast... We had 3 players on the Suns score 21 points! They are the Sacramento Kings of the 04-05 season! They are hot!

On the way back from Sac/Los Angeles, we got lazy and decided to check out a new resort/casion/spa I then Palm Springs/Cabazon area called the Morongo. WOW were we surprised!!

This resort is awesome! I didn't even do it justice by taking enough pictures because we were way too busy exploring it! All rooms (including your standard ones) come with flat screen HD plasma televisions, complimentary robes, and first class toiletries. And the beds! The best most comfortable one I've ever slept on... With hypoallergenic down pillows and comforters!

The gaming looks great although we couldn't do any since we had DJ, but the fitness facility probably puts some regular gyms to shame and overlooks the pool, which by the way isn't open yet but features a beach sand area and a lazy river with indvidual casitas/bungalows.... They have a spa, which I picked up a menu of services and they have the standard fare of massages and facials (which I hope to endulge in on a return visit). The nightclub and I think another restaurant and shop were still under construction.

Although the buffet only serves breakfast (for now) on Sundays, the food is very good! They offer cuisine from around the world and the desserts are gourmet to say the least! They have room service is 24 hours a day and excellent!

Seriously, this hotel is giving any of the major players in Las Vegas a serious run for its money... If you want to just get away but not experience the whole of Vegas this is the place to go. Plus they have a fabulous upscale outlet shopping mall called the Cabazon right next door.. We always stock up on our Nike and Coach items when we pass through. I Can't wait to get back!!

Don't know what happened to my original post but oh well...

We took our son to the Lego Imagination store over at Downtown Disney in Anaheim, which is right across the street from Disneyland. DJ made a beeline to the "self-serve" lego section where you can pick and choose the lego sizes and colors that you like. Very cool!

....and of course I had to take a picture of the huge Incrdibles guy.....

We took my son to the Lego Imagination store in Downtown Disney, which is adjacent to Disneyland in Anaheim. He couldn't wait to go to the self serve lego section... Its actually very cool because they have a lot of pieces that wouldn't normally be in a boxed set.

My friend Natalie and I went to the Suns v Lakers game here Friday night and had a blast! We were sitting courtside and man have they changed it for the better in those seats (not that I was comaplaining in the first place!)... They have what's called the "Courtside Club which entitles you to free valet parking right in front of the arena, a reception are with FREE food and drinks... REAL drinks, not just soda and water, and not just "well" drinks! The food is phenominal, with two carving stations tons of gourmet pasta salads and other assorted sides and entrees and once the 3rd quarter hits they bring out hot dogs, hamburgers, more soda and tons of dessserts!! I would have more pics of all that but we were next to the Lakers bech which was faaaaaaar across the court from the hospitality suite. That didn't stop my friend from bringing her plate back to our seats as you can see, LOL!!

Anyway, it was an awesome game and according to my hubby that was in L.A. At the time, we were on tv a lot which I thought was strange considering we were cheering our hearts out for the SUNS! I mean he saw us so much uplclose that he was able to describe our outfits and what the people next to us were wearing! I guess that was my 15 minutes of Los Angeles fame while being in Phoenix! ;)

Its our last night in Los Angeles... I'm washing some our clothes in the guest laundry (a definate plus for the Embassy Suites) and having a drinky poo at the lounge while I wait. Wow, I have had at least one (uhh.. Last night about 5 or 6, lol!) drink for the past 4 nights (all Patron tequila mind you..).... I don't think I've drank so much since I was in college.... Its kinda slow in the lobby bar tonite of course until I decide to bounce up out of there, like six people show up...oh well time to get the laundry anyway....
