Ok, so I'm at a bowling party with my son and there is an open lane for the parents to play, so I'm like what the hell, let me go put on the clown shoes and bowl. Mind you I have only bowled 3 times in my life and I bowled a 135! Is that good? It sounds good anyway.....

As usual I am in the gym this morning, getting my grind on, on the eliptical machine and flipping thru an old issue of "O" (as in Oprah) magazine from back in May and lo and behold there's the Sidekick/Hiptop!! Pretty nice write up, nothing negative and a sweet, crystal clear picture of it! If it's good enough for Oprah, then it's good enough for me! ;)

p.s. Hope all you Sidekick/Hiptopers in the area of the Hurricane came out OK. Thanks Mike Lee and others who checked in with us! Peace, one love...

I rarely see people on them using them though. I have used one before but it is very akward, but supposedly that is the point--to get you to strengthen your "core". I'll do my sit-ups or shoulder presses the old fashioned way, thanks!

OK, so I admit, when I PMS, I crave chocolate!! OK, never mind, let's just say I really like chocolate all the time, hee-hee! I was in Cost Plus this afternoon and hit the motherland, LOL! I thought this sugarfree chocolate version of Nutella was interesting. Too bad it has more fat than the real thing! Anyway, the Ghiradeli selection is awesome here and I can also get the "real" chocolate that is from Belgium and England in here as well. Once you taste the real stuff, Hershey's just doesn't taste the same. But don't get me worng, I won't pass up a Hershey's kiss though... ;)

Lil man is participating in Jr. Suns again this fall! He really loves it! He's moved up a dvision into the 6-7 yr olds, but they still have it where there is no score kept and no fouls, LOL! Hubby and I are just glad that we don't have the 8AM games anymore-- we can sleep in a little on the weekends since they are at 10AM now! Who knows, maybe we are looking at the next NBA or WBNBA stars out there, gotta love it!! ;)

Lunch today was at Sweet Tomatoes! Sometimes they are called Fresh Choice (like in SMF) but either way, it's delish! It's an all you can eat salad bar place. They also have soup, pasta, bread (which includes foccacia/pizza breads and muffins), and dessert(frozen yogurt)/fresh fruit stations to help round out your meal! My son and I love this place and try and get here at least once every other week! My salad pic is bit blurry, but rest assured, it really was off-the-hook delish! I didn't even have enough room left for a blueberry muffin for dessert.... Anyhow, since we are still in the throws of summer here in PHX (and will be until after Haloween, sigh....) this is the best place to stay cool and still get your grub on! :)
