My son has had mild persistant asthma for about 3 years now. Here in PHX this is a rough time for anyone with allergies, asthma, or any repiratory illnesses. Our "fall" (lol, it's still 90 degrees!!) is when a lot of stuff starts to blow around and it wreaks havoc on my son. Not to mention in 1st grade class there seems to always be at least one kid that is sick so there is always the chance of catching a cold. With asthmatics, a cold is never just a cold... Anyway, we had to go and see his asthma/allergy specialist this afternoon since he has been flaring up since Saturday night. This guy is one of the best in the country so I always feel like we are getting the best care for my son and his lungs. Here are some random pics from the Dr's office....

Once again, the workout balls look at me longingly, but I shun them again. I just can't get into them. Maybe another day...

Well its going to be a Blockbuster weekend-- I got Dysfunktional Family and Malibu's Most Wanted. I also got Soul Caliber 2. I think I like it more than my son and husband do, LOL! Should I get the Jr. Mints or the Raisinettes?

I skipped my morning workout so my husband and I could have a breakfast date at [i]IHOP[/i] after dropping lil man off at school! Oh my was it worth it! The [i]Harvest Grain n' Nut[/i] pancake combo was sooo delish! Next time I think I will try the [i]Pumpkin Pancakes[/i] that are being advertised! ;)

I'm in Safeway picking up a couple items and look across the way where they keep cold alchoholic beverages and they have this whole row of 40oz beers. No biggie until I get to the end and see these brands that are straight old school<.b>. I figured they didn' make them anymore, but I guess the malt liquors are still in demand, lol! The last time I had a St. Ides, was when I was in college in San Fransisco in the (ahem) early 90's. My friend Tracy and I would do laundry in our dorm laundry room (in the basement) with our cans of Hawaiian Punch and we would split a 40 of St. Ides!! Good times, good times.... hehehe...... ;)

We did dip to a high of 79 degrees because of the light winds and rain but really it has just made it sticky, icky, icky!

Anyway, it was still sprinkling this morning and since I kickbox this evening, I'm treating myself to some McDonald's for breakfast, the number 3 sausage mcmuffin combo! Then I'm going back to bed, lol! Sigh, only thing is I'm in a line about 6 deep. Guess other people had the same idea too! ;)

Anyway, my son brought me home this note he made for me and hubby at school. Too sweet and these are the moments that making being a mom (parent) so special. I'm sure those of you with kids can feel me.... :)

WIRED magazine is getting hip, as in hip-hop! Just kidding, but the new issue does has one of hiphop's super-producers, Timbaland, on the cover! It was a refreshing change. There is a whole section dedicated to super-producers of many different genres of music. Very enlightening, not to mention they made The Neptunes look HOTT!! (hee-hee...) ;)

I do most of my grocery shopping at Safeway, and what really makes my trips more enjoyable is knowing that I can get a mocha, latte, or my new craving, the passion tea lemonade, either before, during or after the trip! Added bonus, for every 6 drinks you purchase, you get 1 free!
