Ok---if I suck @ the 800---WHY put me in the 4 by 4 relay?! I actually did ok and we won said relay but I feel like Im going to die. Well it was my first race this spring so I couldnt help but PR. Regardless of my sucking LEXINGTON WON! (even with half the team gone for vacation)

Well its been a long few weeks of making one of those bigger life decisions Although I havent been posting Ive been religiously checking the polls There was a bit of jockeying for second and third but first place was relatively consistent

BU it is! Thanx for all the votes! Ok-- so student loans-- dorm housing and a meal plan are next on my list Eeek Im so excited/nervous! HA! And you all thought I was playin with you when I said Id let you decide!

From what little ive experienced its about a one stop radius from Downtown Crossing on both orange and red lines (maybe more on the orange toward State (blue line) but I havn t checked yet) Green is flaky underground (unless its like Copley or Arlington) but ok-ish on the surface Very false advertising

We should get TMobile to pay us to do some research

Ya know --- id say ~go ask CZ b/c that s his line~ but I guess he s to GOOD for the T! I bet he s like one of those germ phobic ppl who wears little white gloves everywhere ;)

(Im just a Bill---Schoolhouse Rocks---dont lie! You know exactly what Im talking about) Yup thats me sitting on the steps of the Capitol! ROCK! HOW COOL IS THAT! I dont care if you think Im a nerd I thought that was the s*! EEE so inspirational! Until I was commanded by a disgruntled-big-gun-small-oops*-trigger-happy-Storm-Trooper Marin to ~please leave the steps miss ~ (you can see him sneaking up on me in the picture before Id even seen him) Let me be very clear-there were other students up there standing around so Im not a total ditz just wondering across red tape But I was the most engaged young person there (everyone else seemed jaded) so I MUST be a threat to national security --damn--I guess we re defending our nations capitol with ATTITUDE now

~Lil Wheely (explained below) on the MULTIPLE STEPS of the Lincoln Monument and on the other side of the Mall on the Capitol (the Marines did not like Lil Wheely for obvious reasons)


I clocked some major wheeled luggage miles as I dragged ~Lil Wheely~ across the whole Washington Mall today. I would just like to remind everyone how visually DECEPTIVE our nations capitol is. IT’S A LONG

DAMN WAY FROM THE LINCON MONUMENT TO CAPITOL HILL (and let me emphasize the HILL in Capitol HILL. I would have missed this small fact if I had not been bonding with Lil Wheely) But whatever, it was SO cool! It was incredible to see the Vietnam Memorial after learning so much about it Its probably the most powerful piece of art Ive ever seen Very happy with my decision to skip out on the 100th AU Info Session to experience all of these monuments. I was going to go the White House---but then I remembered that I didnt care about the executive branch HA!

The application process (which I recently endured) is the origin of my cynicism. Im actually VERY excited for college because I love to learn and I want to see what I can do to change this crazy world of ours. I also know Im going to have an amazing experience regardless of where I go because I wouldnt settle for anything less. But I would like to find the place that best suits my needs (premed-computer sci.- poli sci. â€" a little bit of an art program- maybe some ancient Hungarian dance? WHO KNOWS! ) Not many of the people Ive talked to are in careers that directly reflect what they did in college or where they actually went to college. The joke is that some people claim a college degree from particular places offer guaranteed success when I feel its more up to the individual. The OTHER part of the joke is that you have to remember that Ive been living in a little suburban bubble with a cut-throat school system. Everyone around me has been brain washed to think YALE HARVARD CORNELL DARTMOUTH MIT BROWN BOWDOIN BATES STANFORD RISD COLBY TUFTS etc. ooooor you can live in a cardboard box. I know this is far from the truth so therefore its a little amusing/frustrating to watch everyone swim around in this cloud of lies.


The application process at LHS is analogous to living in a dirty fish tank with a bunch of piranhas during a feeding frenzy. Ive become a little cynical being forced to live in dirty water with crazed blind piranhas. I know the real world is out there somewhere I just need to get out of the damn tank.


Im visiting American down in DC tomorrow and friday and Sarah Lawrence in NYC Monday-Tusday. Im doing the whole overnight thing and taking some classes to get a feel for each place. Thanx for the tip about the dorms at AU :)

If anyone is in the Boston area and wants to save me tomorrow PLEASE do (9-3):::Lil Deb (ie ME) will be taking tickets or doing heavy lifting::: I found some girls my age:::but they were the Texas Bikini Models and didnt leave the sides of the guys who road around in the ball of steal on dirt bikes:::A lot of confederate patches, leather, beef jerky, long beards, bandanas and a BUNCH of AMAZING MOTERCYCLES! My friends, today I was projected into a world that was completely removed from my way of life~ interesting to see~ I treated it as a social study and immersed myself in the culture. I actually had some really entertaining conversations with some friendly but otherwise DAMN scary looking bikers::: it was like Circ de South! Not bad at all. I learned quite a bit and had a lot of fun. It was just so DIFFERENT!
