Well after running Apple Service Disc sucessfully without the machines power just cutting off, I decided to call Apple about the recall and if I could maybe get the part that they replace, but they have to see it. Bleh!

The iMac G5 1.6 (or 1.8 I forget) started to randomly just die, so I initally figured its the PSU but it seemed to be fine while in Single User Mode. So I leaned more towards my OSX install b0rked or the ram is bad. After scouring my room for the shipped Hardware Test CD I found the Apple Service Diagnostic CD on the net. Running it now to check for a hardware error. =/

Ordered some networking gear for a pretty good price I think I paid about 50 bucks for everything (100M of Cat5e (Stranded)) 100 (I think there's more) RJ45 clips, 300 multi colored boots (1.00/100!) crimper and a tester (5 bucks) pretty good heist from eBay and Geeks.com I think.

Well, I had to return the Nikon mom gave me for Christmas to Costco twice. I kept getting dead pixels on the pictures. The 2nd time I returned it they gave me cash, so I went to the Circuit City next door and picked up a Canon SD630. At first they didn't want to give it to me for the 264.99 online price. After some time they finally gave it to me for 264.99. So far its taken pretty nice pictures, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 (all hosted on Zooomr
