Ghostly infrared photos

this picture is owned by the submitter. contact submitter for permission before using it in any wayThe sk2 cam picks up infrared much better than the original CSK cam. Here's a shot of my charcoal starter in darkness. The whitish patterns of heat on the side are not visible with the naked eye.

Making some perfectly round donuts with my 18T. The camera does a pretty good job of stopping the action, but in real life it looks like a blue, spinning ufo. You can't even tell it's a car. Took some in night mode which are the second and third pictures. The slower scan of the CCD makes the car look bent, because it's going so fast the car has moved in the time it takes to make a complete scan of the CCD.

Last pic is the donut left behind. Like I said, perfect!

Heh, another really old set of photos that I've been needing to move out of my device.

This is the only Frank Lloyd Wright designed house in Carmel-by-the-Sea. Really cool place, but was hard to get with the sun being in the wrong spot.

Did this a week or so and forgot to post the pix. Excellent recipie, I definitely reccomend it....but be forewarned, it takes quite a while to prepare. The results are worth it tho. Give it a try!

Recipie here. Be sure to check out the other recipies on the site. Almost all have detailed pix, and many of them look fantastic. It's a great place to go when you are not sure what to cook. There is some irrrevrent launguage, but it's all pretty damn funny. :)

Got the cable plugged in, configured the software and it worked! Well, mostly. There seems to be some odd error that makes the data grabbing software miss readings every now and again....so I'm getting 0 degree temps, and that's not right! Anyway, here's the link to the weather page:

It uploads a new data point every 5 minutes. Unfortunately, the graphs aren't as smooth as I'd like, due to the glitching. I'll have to try some different software and see if that makes a difference. So far python isn't taking over my machine!

Got home a bit early today and was able to grab a few shots of the instruments outside before it got dark. They're solar powered so I don't have to worry about changing batteries.

There's also a pretty cool banner you may want to give a shot also. Not sure how this is going to turn out but here goes!
