But thank goodness for heated mirrors and heated seats!

Why didn't I think of this earlier?

But not quite. ;)

Found this inside the house. I've seen these around, but have no idea what they are. Any ideas?

RC18T is rokkin'
this picture is owned by the submitter. contact submitter for permission before using it in any wayAfter doing some coding for a R/C car gearing app earlier, I got a chance to run (and break) my 18T. The semi-ghetto way they have the steering linkage is pretty fragile. Well, maybe not so fragile, but doesn't really stand up well to 30' long cartwheels at 40 mph.

So after breaking it for the second time (gorilla glue didn't work) I put it back together with super glue. So far so good. If this doesn't work, the only other option I've got is to have a part custom machined. The plastic the servo horn is made out of is some pretty chemically impervious stuff. The part has been glued 3 times now and there's no glue buildup because it simply nothing sticks. I've even tried acrylic welding glue with no success.

I've also dremeled the chassis so the LiPo battery fits in the stock location. That allowed me to move the RX to the top and the result is a better CG and no more need for a mini RX.

Better elevation for the anemometer
this picture is owned by the submitter. contact submitter for permission before using it in any wayGot it up above fence level now, using about the most ghetto installation method I could think of. Actually, it worked out pretty good because I know that's not a good place to put it now. It's still below the roofline and the wind swirls around, throwing the reading off by about 90 degrees. Looks like I'm going to have to go for a backside chimney mount.

We're all set up waiting for zero hour. Campfire is kinda optional since it's 64, but still looks nice.
