it reads: Dear Parents and Guardians: Today it was reported that a student brought a handgun to campus. The school immediately enacted lockdown procedures in accordance with our emergency response plan as a precautionary measure. A suspect was taken into custody and removed from the campus. Law enforcement officials will continue the investigation.

Please understand that we take every accusation seriously and investigate all of them to the fullest extent possible. I want to commend the students and staff who followed the plan in a calm and orderly manner. The safety and security of our students and staff is always a priority at our school.

- We were in lockdown for 3 hours....no one knew what was going on....after watching the news...found out that it was a BB gun that looks just like a handgun. :( Moral of the story....GUNS ARE BAD! :/

Yay! Our football game poster is finished! It reads, "GO SAMI & JANNA" :) I'm so pleased with how it looks. it's even laminated and everything. We have our own Planet Swimmy(the black planet with the fish in it) and another planet on there(the music we're playing in our marching show is called the planets) and the flamingo is an inside joke about a flamingo named sparky who has no legs. :P :):):)

big church meeting thing at my church today for all the methodist preachers in the Houston-east district area. Lots of food. there was a chocolate fountain. melted chocolate constantly running down the thing and you dip strawberries, bananas, marshmellows, cookies....pretty much anything in there. Yum! -sAmI-

Heather had her baby shower today! :) we played a funny game where you get a roll of toilet paper and you have to guess how long a strip you'll need to go around her belly. It was funny...but mean. lol. She got lots of cute gifts! Janna got her the bib that says I Love my Auntie! :) So cute! Me and Holly are gunna be the coolest Aunts ever! :) -sAmI-

SUPER ULTRA MEGA FUN! :) first few pix are of mason, daniel, jeff, janna, blaze, and I shopping for food at wal mart before we headed to the beach! :) People played Ultimate frisbee, surfed, skim boarded, boogie boarded, talked, grilled, played football, and buried stuff. Truely a good time had by all. :)
