One benefit of living in Hell, AZ is that car manufacturers test drive some of their new creations out here to see how they handle our heat. I spotted this nissian while driving to one of my sites. It's a hybrid, but I would not expect it to be availible in the u.s.- it was right side drive. (Or maybe not? Who knows...)

Chik-fik-a is running their "cow appreciation day". If you dress up as a cow, you get free food. This couple brought in their pair of great danes with udders, cow ears, and the "eat mor chickn" signs. Poor doggies!! The couple got a pair of coupons for the free food, and the manager was heard to say 'give the dogs whatever they want!' --subether
