I know that I was just saying yesterday that I'm not buying an iPhone yet, but that doesn't mean I wouldn't take a free one. Steve Jobs is giving every Apple employee an iPhone, even the temporary ones. That's over $12million retail.

There's actually a HUGE Apple office building just down the road from my office. This means that at lunch and roaming around I'm going to see tons of them soon...

I don't really use hotmail but I set up a hotmail account over 10 years ago just so I had "sorensilk at hotmail dot com" for myself. I never used it but would log in from time to time to clear out my spam. About 5-6 years ago I forgot my password and have occasionally been trying to figure it out ever since.

After a while, I thought it might have expired and someone else grabbed it. But today I finally got back into it. It was one of my standard passwords that I use except for the fact that I misspelled it. Apparently, when I was 15 I wasn't as good of a speller as I remember.

Seriously? Larry King interviewed Paris Hilton. That's just sad. He should really be more like this lady. What passes for news these days is pathetic. And for the record, I didn't watch it. I just took a few pics as I was flipping around.

The Top 10 Reasons why I won't be getting an iPhone yet. In no particular order:

No cut, copy, or paste option

No songs as ringtones

No games

No flash support

No Instant Messaging

No MMS

No video recording

No voice recognition or voice dialing

No wireless Bluetooth stereo streaming (A2DP)

No one-size-fits-all headset jack (May have to buy an adapter for certain headphones)

And surprisingly, the virtual keyboard is not on the list. I've heard that after a week you do really get used to it and it's pretty fast. I'm hoping version 2 of the iPhone includes some of this stuff...

Oh, and thanks, sleebus, for the WU tip but I knew about the work around. I like having the titlebar info...

I finally broke down and bought it. I really like the app but the bug where the blue message light stays on is already getting on my nerves...

I remember hearing about the Microsoft Surface a while back, but thanks to sarcasticgamer.com's recent parody I was reminded of it again.  It was a pretty funny parody but once I stopped laughing I realized again how much I really really want one of these things in my living room. Maybe in 5-10 years...

Last night my wife and I were watching a movie and we kept hearing this weird noise outside. It was quiet though so we didn't check it out until after the movie finished at about 10:30pm. Apparently, it was someones kitten that was trying to get into our house.

It must have just wandered off and couldn't find its way home in the dark. I don't think it was dumped because it was very healthy and extremely friendly. We played with it for a little while, gave it some water, and then put it back outside. We left the water outside for it and put down a towel for it to sleep on.

This morning it was gone so I hope it made it home safe and sound.
