| Voice T1 Upgrade Tue 06.28.05 5:59am PDT #14237 |
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Got here at 7:00am on the dot and Jim from Inter-Tel was already here. In fact, he tried opening the front door and set off our security alarm. Had a nice visit with the Oakdale Police. Switching over the circuit wasn't a big deal, but now our company's outgoing Caller ID lists the first two digits of our area code as the country code and the last digit of the area code and the rest of the phone number together on my hiptop (+65-17022900). When I try to call it back, it tries to dial internationally. No problems on other phones -- it's just me. Weird. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Went into work at 6:50 this morning for a scheduled voice T1 upgrade. McLeodUSA, our service provider and Inter-Tel, our phone equipment provider were both supposed to be here at 7:00 so it can be done before business hours. I don't even care about the upgrade; it's something McLeod "needed" to do and it doesn't improve my service. McLeod also is supposed to pay for all the work that Inter-Tel does for this upgrade. We will see how easily that works out. Anyway, it's 7:30 and nobody's here. I am not surprised. Both of these companies suck. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Matt and I arrived too early to Jon and Kim's wedding. They left us with everything they set up and went to lunch. Of course one can't leave it all sit. I mixed some Bob Dylan, Mercury Rev, Nancy Sinatra, Pink Martini, Gomez and some Morrisey. Then the guitarist decided she wanted to do a sound check. Fun's over. |
