Weird synergies...

I'd like to point out some weird synergies going on in the Hiptop community right now. mwsmith is in Gruene, not 30 minutes from where I live. Divinity and S4xton have shots of the Sparks can in their most recent posts, and S4xton and Chris Falco's sequential posts are both about poker. I think perhaps the Sidekick has hacked into our collective brainwaves and is telling us what to do. If everybody suddenly feels an urge to post for that European Account Manager job at Danger, RESIST. :)

I got to swing by IKEA yesterday because I was on my way to see an old buddy in Houston for his Reserve duty. He and his wife are those sorts of friends friends whom I made because we had many friends in common, and I'm hoping that now that we're stranded from those common friends and occasionally a few hours from each other, we'll get to know each other in earnest. We went to Magic Island, which I've been wanting to do for a while. (And which explains the attached scary photos.) We were one of the only non-prom couples. That was probably the scariest part. :)

He also introduced me to ARGs last night, so if you never see me again, you know why.
