So in tribute to the return of Project Runway tonight, I turned the dress I wore to Rick's commissioning into a jacket that recalls the one in those Banana Republic commercials from the first season. This was my first time doing real sleeves, and I think they turned out pretty good (they were originally the bottom of the dress).

In other news, y'all get to see an awful lot of my bathroom.

Had a billion islands that I didn't do justice to, but this'll make a great tote. This is one of Kurt Halsey's pieces. He's really cool about letting you use his art in stuff you make as long as you're not going to alter or sell it. Next project: Jenny Hart's kit.
