Up with Sami and Mike (virtually) and had to say happy best holiday of the year to everybody. Mom took some shots of this year's costume on its debut Saturday night -- Brandy from Liberty Meadows (complete with little stuffed Truman). Was spurred by a line of thought proceeding from some rockin shirts our former HN cohort Matt Gambrell sent. Sorry to hear about your lost mentor, dude.

Went in the Halloween costume, freak that I am, and was almost instantly recognized, which made my day. ;) Mom took a few photos for me, so I'll share them on Halloween proper.

Some shots of the trees turning across the site (including Sozra's new sign), the Pyrates at the White Hart and Darcy playing the hammered dulcimer in the lane, Deb (a fellow rabid fan who's recently relocated back to Virginia), a few shots of The Globe (a court show and Steph, Steve, and Liz in Henry the V), and two of the final pub sing before it got dark. Not pictured are Lisa, whom I finally got to catch up with, and Kay, whose photo my miniSD card ate. Another season over.

When I emerged from under the covers, I did some power surfing and found a great site I have to share, morenewmath.com, an extension of the book _New Math_ by Craig Damrauer. It's amusing equations of real-life situations. Tres clever.
