My place is... is here. With the snowpeople.

It's taking me longer to weigh the packages and put the info in than a professional postal person, but I end up with a metered package and don't have to wait in line.

My favorite nap place seems to have been taken over by rogue wrapping supplies. Little help, Opposable Thumbs?

Milla says, "Hello," in the first picture. She was lounging on the water conditioner formerly known as mine when I showed up. She wanted power scritches, and I hung out obliging her for a while. Nice to see her again, and I'm pretty sure it was mutual.

Intended to have lunch at Godai with Amy and Zoe, but I didn't realize it isn't open for lunch Saturdays, so we headed down the road to Phoenix Cafe. It was great seeing them again. I don't miss this placeg I miss these people.
Technologically Gullible
this picture is owned by the submitter. contact submitter for permission before using it in any wayI parked in Hourly parking at BWI, chiefly to witness the smart parking system. It's a simple series of lights over the spaces which tells you if they're open or not. As an added bonus, my space was right at the counter for Southwest.

Unfortunately, I'm flying Continental.
Christmas Spirits

It apparently involves Christmas Ninjas, which I don't remember in Mr. Dickens's version, but I'm sure he'd approve.
Lookit What I Found!!!

Somehow I'm thinking they probably don't run the same Wing Stop television commercials up here in the D.C. area, so let me proselytize a bit for those of you up here. Wing Stop is found on Richmond Highway near Fort Belvoir (in the strip mall with Tubby's Chili Parlor), and serves the *best* wings (garlic parmesan being my personal downfall).
Seen in the wild...
this picture is owned by the submitter. contact submitter for permission before using it in any wayWhile walking in Silver Spring last night with Steph, Steve and Kate after enjoying a performance of 500 Clown Macbeth, we came across this USAA billboard. Color me surprised. (It's in the 64 box from Crayola.)
Let them eat popcorn.

There were some jarring moments that seemed to be part of the design, but the costumes were wonderful. I would like to petition that panniers need to make a comeback.
I believe...
