Jen and I swang by for an afternoon snack. Love the saturation on the pink cupcakes.

I missed the years where it wandered itinerant, but the new site (at Lake Anna Winery) is promising. Lots of Pennsylvania vendors and many familiar faces, but slightly too much sun at the upper section of the site. Reminded me very much of Scarborough that way. The photos are 1) the alpaca booth, which was clever... they use the wool to teach patrons how to spin on a tredle machine, 2) pay a buck to make your kid wear himself out throwing a rock, 3) HRH explaining the difference between a pirate and privateer and why the young lad should claim to be the latter whenever asked by royalty, and 4) some irony for a small bunch of MD regulars who'll get it. (The sign indicates there's no smoking in the pub. I'm evil. But I couldn't resist.) Some shots of the Pyrates during Pub Sing (with Capt. Fletcher T. Moone indicating you must be this tall to join the crew) and the younger Strum leading a rousing rendition of Old MacDonald.

So I see this marvelous hydrangea bush out of the corner of my eye on my way to work each day, and today I succumbed to the desire to snap a few shots. The owners were in the yard, and told me they'd grown them from little cuttings off the "big" one in the back. All the hydrangeas in this older neighborhood are blue, so I guess they're sitting on an acidic aluminum vein. Unbelievably beautiful in person.

The season ended beautifully with a great run from the Cavs, especially in the last minute of the game. And the obligatory television shots of my team since I'm not there to witness it in person. Missed the "7" flashed by Robert Horry. Glad he's back next year. Can't wait to see what they do then.

Got my pledge to MikePop's trek to go through after I got home from work. I still love my job. Got to take this new shirt live late this afternoon. I think it's the last of the shirts conceived before I came on board. And it's a great one, IMNSHO. Soon to be a major motion picture! Okay. Not so much with the motion picture part. But the rest is all true. ;)

Sami reminded me that I'd meant to donate to MikePop's cause before he tok off. However, it's proving difficult. If only the pledge site were as reliable as our HN! ;)

Unfortunately, I'm leaving before the game, but fortunately, I'm leaving early enough that even if my plane ends up delayed, I should be home from BWI before the game starts. And yes, I saw the article in The Onion, and I'm don't get why good basketball with a minimum of personal drama is uninteresting. If you're there for the sport, it shouldn't matter. If you're there for the drama, watch a soap opera.
