Possibly should not have napped before heading out to see the premiere of The Blue Rhino vs. The Giant Amoeba, a short film by Adam Bradley. Yaaay. If I have nightmares as a result of this, he and I are going to have words.

But I think maybe Disney likes Holly. A little.

At the reception for a lovely wedding -- Bette and Chris from work. ;)

Not that way. The beach here (Atlantic Beach, NC) is beautiful. And almost empty, which is perfect. We headed to the Fort Macon end this morning; Holly got a free microdermabrasion. I think we like the end across the street from our hotel best. Reminds me of the end of Virginia Beach we used to visit when we lived there.

Yay. Hit the Sonic in Fredericksburg with Holly on the way to North Carolina.

So, I wasn't one of the lucky winners of the private lunch atop the White Hart. Keith Heffner was, though, and as his lovely SO is on the cast, she wasn't able to attend and let me take her spot. Squee. Squee. And more squee.

Came up to New Jersey with a half a dozen other ThinkGeek folks to visit our warehouse. Massive operation. They have a bunch of other customers, but the last three or four aisles on the right in the second shot are all ours.

A good band on stage. 6 p.m. And the White Hart is empty. It's really a testament to how important it is to have a stage-managed show that involves both the actors and musicians to give closure to the day. I think there's a closing gate ceremony that I'll try to catch today, but the only effective closing ceremony I've seen that has the same effect that Maryland's Pub Sing used to was Scarborough's closing gate (granted I've only been to 13 festivals and not any in California or Colorado's). And somehow I don't suspect we're all going to stand around and expect the patrons to join in a rousing round of Parting Glass.
