new baby chicks today! (i raise chickens in my backyard - gotta love free range organic meat n eggs, right?) unfortunately its over 100 today and the hens want nothing to do with the new babies because its so hot.

went up vegas with tiffany to look at places to have her wedding (no drive thru chapels thank you very much). stopped by the flamingo to compare prices and got a pic of some real flamingos!

still have a love-hate relationship with vegas, been there twice this week. ugh.

came back to arizona and hung out with the usual crowd in the studio/garage where ross is living. we are gonna paint it from the floor to ceiling, it'll be sweet! oh& he made some green tea and hibiscus sun tea. gotta love the summer sun.... -liz

the weather is arizona is intense. after work on sunday i hit the lake with my friends to escape the heat. -liz

had no where to go, so we moved our party to the old house of a friend. its up for sale, sitting empty, no electricity.

so we lit candles and hung out in the livingroom. the only furniture in the whole house : two giant elk heads sitting in the middle of the livingroom. -liz

ugh. je n'en peux plus. je suis trop fatiguee... mais j'ai encore sept heures de travail.. et en plus jai un controle de maths cet apres midi. trop bien...

anyways - i have some more photos of coachella. there is the band Devotchka (you might know them from the soundtrack of Little Miss Sunshine) note the acrobats hanging from the stage curtains. Their set didn't last long because one of the band members passed out from the heat - and it was only 100 degrees!

I also put up a picture of one of the art exhibits, rolling robot balls. one of the robot balls got a mind of its own and escaped from the exhibit and started wandering through the crowd.

The rest of the pictures are paintings of some of the performers that played coachella this year, like MIA and prince.

oh. and i can't forget the blurry pic of the inflatable pig the size of 2 school buses that Roger Waters released during one of the two sets he played. It floated away and there was a 10,000 dollar reward plus lifetime tickets to coachella for returning the pig... -liz

bored at work! heres the view out my window

i already posted about my trip to coachella in california, but i forgot to introduce myself! Well, I'm 19, born and raised here in the Mohave Desert. I'm a full time college student and I work full time as a park ranger at a national park. I just got a sidekick last week and figure i should get my moneys worth and use it a lot, so here i am!

i had the most amazing weekend of my life at coachella music festival in Indio, CA. Some of the bands I saw : Death Cab, Battles, Akron/Family, MGMT, Tegan and Sara, Gogol Bordello, Devotchka, Rilo Kiley, Prince, and Roger Waters do dark side of the moon.
