| bike commute is go Tue 05.23.06 5:21am PDT #18022 |
 Got the bike tuned up and it finally stopped raining, so today was the first bike commute to work. 6 miles each way, and the way in took me about 25 minutes. Not terribly fast, but there are a fair amount of cars and traffic lights to deal with. I'll be hooking up a bike computer soon so I'll be able to track speed, etc. The bike is a 21-speed Marin Larkspur hybrid, which I purchased in 1998 the day after I moved to California. I used it extensively there, and hopefully it will serve me as well here. // mikepop via hiptop * AIM: drjellyfish |
