Just took a ride in the hills above Berkeley, CA. It was a beautiful day, one of the perfect times to be on two wheels. I started in Richmond and snaped these about 30 miles down the road, off Grizzly Peak. One is obviously my motorcycle, a BMW R1100S. The other two are looking down from the hills, with Berkeley on the right, Oakland on the left, and rt 24 in the middle. I hope everyone elses day was as pleasent as mine, and I'll endevor to post more motorcycle and backroads themed pix.

Does anyone out there follow The Sopranos? I thought tonight's episode was fantasic. --slax0r

I am blown away by how many posts the weblog has been getting. They are fun and fabulous; keep them coming.

You might have noticed the page was taking a bit of time to load (especially on the hiptop). Now, there are 20 entries per page, which should keep everything snappy.

Best of all, you can now view entries from any one person. Just click {*} next to the email address. This basically means: personal blogs for everyone! Just click {*} next to your email address and bookmark the resulting page or link to the resulting URL.

A few things to fix yet: the "Newest" link does not always work. And the page formatting gets a bit weird if someone posts, say, 8 or more pictures. I'll get them worked out eventually, but I wanted to get this update out tonight.

A couple of posts might have been dropped in the transition: sorry about that, please repost if possible!

...my high school hang out. (I grew up in Menlo Park, went to Menlo-Atherton High (about 1/2 mile from the cafe) and have since graduated college and moved to far-away Redwood Shores... (about 10 miles north))

Also right next door to the best independant bookstore on the peninsula, (well, since Stacy's Palo Alto closed) Keplers. Must be doing your laundry at the place next to Applewood-2-go, and the place with the neon "Swedish Clogs" sign (my friends and I often debate the cost-effectiveness of a neon swedish clogs sign).

Hrrmmm - what *other* technology startup used to be right across the street... in the charles schwabb building... hmmm...
